We are looking for a Financial Controller with a drive and ambition to make a difference. You will play a critical role in maintaining and developing our financial reporting and controlling frameworks, leading and participating in key finance responsibilities such as tax, cost, and cash flow optimization, as well as process improvement initiatives.

The Group Finance function consists of 22 skilled professionals across Business Finance and Accounting located in Denmark and Poland. This role is based in our headquarters in Copenhagen, where you will report directly to our Team Leads and collaborate closely with Finance Directors on-site.

As a Financial Controller, you will have a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on Miinto’s financial processes while driving efficiency and innovation within the Group Accounting function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for both internal and external purposes, while maintaining full compliance with statutory and legal requirements.
• Develop and enhance financial reporting processes and controls.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Work closely with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on financial statement preparation.
• Provide insights and recommendations to Directors and the Team Manager in Group Finance.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master degree is a plus)
• 2-5 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, or auditing.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Business Central is considered an advantage
• Experience within IFRS and DK GAAP.
• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Can communicate in English both in writing and orally.
• Proactive, results-driven, and a team player.
